Create an Easter DecoMesh Wreath

Join ScrapsNSewMom, Amy Harrington, to create a beautiful deco-mesh wreath for your Easter celebration! Amy will do the materials shopping for you and bring everything to class, so all you have to do is show up ready to learn! To cover each person’s wreath materials, a $30 materials fee is due at the beginning of class. The $30 materials fee (cash or check only) is separate from the $30 registration fee. Amy will guide you through the process to create a cute Easter wreath to take home at the end of the class. The finished size is approximately 24 inches! You will have a choice of 4 different designs to pick from at the start of class. Each wreath design will have enough materials to create 5 wreaths. Do some shopping for Mother's Day (May 12, 2024) or pamper YOURSELF with this stunningly beautiful jewelry. We will make a copper wire-wrapped Tree of Life Pendant with matching earrings. Stones and wire will be provided. There will be a $25 materials fee (cash or check only) due to the instructor at the start of class. Once the class enrolls the minimum number of students to run, students will be emailed a Supply List of tools to purchase before the start of class. You can see examples off the jewelry to be created and the tools to be purchased on our website at midmaine.maineadulted.org. Limit 10 students.

Come learn more about both the artistic side, including composition and design, and the technical, such as aperture, shutter speed, loss and non-loss files, downloading to electronic formats, and simple editing of digital photography. We will be outdoors shooting as much as daylight and weather permit. Please wear appropriate outdoor gear to be outdoors on a spring evening. Students must bring a camera, memory cards, charged batteries, all cords, camera manual, and laptop with them to each and every class. If students have a card reader, that also should be brought to each class. Students between 13-17 years old interested in registering also require a participating and registering parent or guardian to attend. Limit 5 students.

Learn the fundamentals of casting on a one-to-one basis from a Fly Fishers International Certified Casting Instructor. Beginners to advanced casters are welcome. Learn how to do a basic cast, a roll cast, false casting, mending line, casting accuracy, casting in wind, and other techniques suited for your skill level. Limit 6 Students. 

This class will be held OUTDOORS on the Waterville Senior High School campus. Bring a 4-7 wt. fly rod with a floating line. Please also bring a hat and sunglasses to protect your head and your eyes. Instructor will provide leader with practice fly that will be attached to your fly line. DRESS FOR OUTDOOR PRACTICE. Dates of class can be flexible if weather conditions prevent a class.
