Hunter Safety Messalonskee F18

Offered by the Maine Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife, this course covers safety, the proper handling of firearms, hunter responsibilities, landowner relations, ethics, map and compass reading, first aid, and survival. There will be homework, you must attend all class time, and pass the written test at the end of class in order to get your certificate. A parent or guardian must accompany students between 10 and 17 years of age. Please bring a notebook & pen/pencil. Limit 40 students.

Tuesday, 5:45-9:00 p.m., Sept. 11, and Sunday, 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m., Sept. 23 (2 sessions)
