Dog Training Basics Messalonskee session a W19

with Donna Whitney

Class is full

This is a beginner dog training class and is designed for the young and not so young. We work in small groups with several trainers assisting. The first night will be an orientation and information night held on Monday, Apr. 22, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Messalonskee High School for the two-legged family member(s) only. You will get a helpful manual and many issues will be discussed including the commands taught, walking on a loose leash, ‘stay and come’ exercises, and other techniques. We will also discuss your dog’s behavior concerns. The five subsequent evenings will be held off-site at the Fairfield Community Center from 6:00-7:00 p.m. All dogs will need to be on a leash at all times, and NO dogs will be allowed if they are aggressive. Registration deadline of Apr. 11. Once you have registered, you will receive a packet in the mail to read, sign, and bring with you to class. Please bring proof of vaccinations and a $90 material fee payable to the instructor at the start of class, Apr. 22. Limit 12 dogs with their people. No class May 13, May 27, and June 10.
