with Donna Whitney

Calendar Sep 5, 2017 at 6:30 pm, runs for 6 weeks

This is a beginner dog training class and is designed for the young and not so young. We work in small groups with several trainers assisting. The first night will be an orientation and information night held on Tuesday, Sept. 5, at Messalonskee High School for the two-legged family member/s only. You will get a helpful manual and many issues will be discussed including the commands taught such as walking on a loose leash, stay and come exercises as well as other techniques. We will also discuss your behavior concerns. The five subsequent evenings will be held on Mondays, off-site at the Fairfield Community Center from 6:30-7:30 p.m. All dogs will need to be on a leash at all times. Once you have registered, you will receive a packet in the mail to read, sign, and bring with you to class. Please bring proof of vaccinations and a $90 material fee payable to instructor at start of class on Sept. 5. Class will be held on Columbus Day, Oct. 9. Limit 12 dogs and their people.
