with Donna Whitney

Calendar Apr 27, 2020 at 6 pm, runs for 6 weeks

This is beginner dog training class and is designed for the young and not so young. We work in small groups with several trainers assisting. The first night will be an Orientation and Information night held on Monday, Apr. 27, at Messalonskee High School for the two-legged family member/s only. You will get a helpful manual and many issues will be discussed including the commands taught such as walking on a loose leash, stay and come exercises as well as other techniques. We will also discuss your behavior concerns. The five subsequent evenings will be held off-site at the Fairfield Community Center on Mondays from 6:00-7:00 p.m. Several caretaker family members may accompany one dog. All dogs will need to be on a leash at all times, and NO dogs will be allowed if they are aggressive. Once you have registered, you will receive a packet in the mail from the Adult Ed office to read, sign, and bring with you to class. Please bring proof of vaccinations, a $100 material fee payable to the instructor (NO CREDIT CARDS), and your completed packet to Orientation Night. No class on May 25.
