Dog Training Basics Messalonskee Oct. F22

Calendar Oct 3, 2022 at 6 pm, runs for 5 weeks

This is a beginner dog training class and is designed for the young and not so young. We work in small groups with several trainers assisting. The first night will be an Orientation and Information night held either on Monday, Oct. 3 or Monday, Nov. 14 at the Fairfield Community Center for the two-legged family member/s only. (Please only one human registration per dog, although 2 humans may attend with one dog.) You will get a helpful manual and many issues will be discussed including the commands taught such as walking on a loose leash, stay and come exercises as well as other techniques. We will also discuss your behavior concerns. The four subsequent evenings with dogs will also be held at the Fairfield Community Center from 6:00-7:00 p.m. All dogs will need to be on a leash at all times, and NO dogs will be allowed if they are aggressive. When you register online, you will receive a packet attached to your receipt. Please print, read, sign, and bring it to class with you. Please bring proof of vaccinations, $100 material fee payable to the instructor (NO CREDIT CARDS), and your completed packet to orientation night. Limit 10 dogs and up to two people may attend with one dog. Limit 10 students/dogs.
