The Heart Saver CPR and AED course teaches the basic techniques of Adult CPR and how to use AED equipment. Students will learn about using barrier devices in CPR and giving first aid for choking. You will learn how to recognize the signs of four major emergencies: heart attack, stroke, cardiac arrest, and foreign-body airway obstruction. This class is appropriate for coaching and day care certification. Please pre-register with the Adult Education office by Monday, March 6. A $55 lab fee is payable to the instructor at start of class. Limit 20 students.
