Basket Making with Bittersweet Vine*
with Zack Rouda

The so-called “oriental” or round leaf bittersweet is a creeping vine with inedible berries that is considered invasive in North America. We will cover identification, responsible collection, processing, and storage. We will cover the basics of stake-and-strand twining, and weaving to create a basket that you will cherish for many years to come. Limit 10 students.
