with Danielle Boutin

Calendar Next available session starts Jun 22, 2024 at 9 am, runs for 1 week

If you live in or visit Maine you have probably already heard that one of the biggest threats to keeping our state's water bodies clean and clear is the invasive species Variable Leaf Milfoil. The Friends of Messalonskee Watershed have been hard at work for many years keeping the Messalonskee Lake in Belgrade, Oakland, & Sidney, clean and clear for all to enjoy. This summer their expert on milfoil removal, Danielle Boutin, is offering a 3-hour workshop on how to properly hand pull and dispose of it. You too can make a difference! Join her in August and check out the Friends web page at www.friendsofmessalonskee.com. Students will sent a short supply list and release form before the class begins. Rain date will be determined. Must be at least 17 to register. Limit 10 students.
