Calendar Sep 11, 2017 at 12 pm, runs for 15 weeks
Receive individual or small group academic assistance in preparation to take the HiSETTM(High School Equivalency Test). Reading, writing and math foundational help is provided with general assistance for social studies and science. Students working towards the HiSETTM are required to attend the HiSETTMLearning Center for a minimum of eight hours of preparation. All the HiSETTM students must meet with the intake counselor, complete the CASAS assessment and the HiSETTM practice tests. This will be followed up with an individual plan based on student academic needs. All the HiSETTM testing is done at our Waterville location. Testing accommodations may be available for individuals with documented disabilities.

Power Point: In this presentation software program you will learn to cut, copy and paste, along with learning about different fonts to create slide shows. You will learn to import from other files like Word, Excel, and the Internet and learn about compatibility with other MS Office Suite products. Microsoft Publisher: The Publisher program is designed to aid you in designing your own calendars, cards, and invitations, to name only a few of the many ways to use this program. Students need to bring a thumb drive to class. Limit 12 students.

ODYSSEYWARE offers you the opportunity to earn credits toward your high school diploma and enables you to work at your own pace with the assistance of our certified instructor. Topics include English, math, social studies and electives. In addition, you may use this web-based program to prepare for college level courses and the HiSETTM exam. You must finish an ODYSSEYWARE course within the fifteen week semester and may earn a maximum of four credits through ODYSSEYWARE. No student limit.

ODYSSEYWARE science courses are designed for all levels and topics of interest in science. You will work independently toward your science credit with the help of a science instructor. Most labs and activities are done on-line, but lab materials are available for the hands-on experience if desired. You must finish an ODYSSEYWARE course within the fifteen week semester and may earn a maximum of four credits through ODYSSEYWARE. No student limit.
