Reading Skills for College Badge
<p>This course is a college-level reading course designed to help students improve their reading comprehension and ability to do critical analysis. Students will develop advanced vocabulary skills and improve comprehension in assignments involving lengthy and difficult college-level texts and scholarly articles. This course is offered to students earning a HSD as well as the general public who enjoy reading and want to engage in discussion and analysis of short stories, learn how to recognize and evaluate marketing techniques through critical examination and be able to identify the language of propaganda in all aspects of advertisements and storytelling. </p>
