A digital badge is an online representation of a skill you've earned. Each badge you earn goes into your account's backpack — a running list of your achievements that you can display on social media, a website, or even as part of a printed portfolio.
Math I Badge
<p>This course is necessary for adult students who want to refresh or build and develop the basic skills of math that are necessary for further integration into more complicated math skills. Academic areas to be covered: place value, units of measure, four operations, automaticity in + and x, reading one-step and two-step word problems, tables/graphs, conversions, maps, math vocabulary and finally intro to fractions/decimals. This course will also assist parents of children in early education to work w/them at home. It builds self-confidence, pride in accomplishment and the ability to share their knowledge w/their children. This course is offered to students earning a HSD as well as the general public. </p>
Criteria
