A digital badge is an online representation of a skill you've earned. Each badge you earn goes into your account's backpack — a running list of your achievements that you can display on social media, a website, or even as part of a printed portfolio.
Business Math Badge
<p>The purpose of this course is to give students the basics of math while exploring financial literacy. During this course, students will learn to perform operations with whole numbers, fractions, decimals and percentages. Additionally, they will gain a greater understanding of the financial issues that affect their lives now: budgeting money, understanding a paycheck, buying a car and choosing a credit card. Students will also be introduced to financial topics that they will encounter in the years to come as they finish school and enter the workforce. Mortgages, rent, insurances, utilities, groceries, entertainment, investing and saving for retirement will be topics in this course. This course is offered to students earning a HSD as well as the general public.</p>
Criteria
